Grinch swipes Christmas in 192 mph heist (video)

What is the most effective vacation cars and truck for the Grinch to drive while stealing Christmas? I ‘d lean in the direction of something stylish with nimble handling, way too much horse power and also naturally some trendy styling.

At Hennessey’s annual Christmas Tree Run the Grinch struck a 192 mph in a Venom 1000 Mustang GT500 with a Christmas tree strapped to the roof covering. The Grinch most likely won’t elude Santa’s sleigh in a 1,000-horsepower pony car but it must make fast job of the majority of non-reindeer powered cars.

The Grinch’s Eruption Green escape cars and truck includes a hand-built supercharged 5.2-liter V8 with a 2.65-liter Roots-type supercharger. Hennessey’s augmentation of a stock Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 produces a 1,000 bhp as well as 850 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane pump gas, which is ample horsepower for a Grinch to steal Christmas.

Hennessey Venom 1000 Mustang GT500 Don’t treat the Grinch as well roughly for stealing Christmas at virtually 200 miles per hour. Remember the vacations are a fantastic possibility for forgiveness, love, relationship, approval, as well as unity.

Remain risk-free available, mi gente. Have a fantastic vacation as well as think of me while I commemorate Festivus.

Watch Travis Pastrana hoon his 865-hp Subaru wagon in Gymkhana 2022

It’s been well over a decade since rally driver and entrepreneur Ken Block released his first Gymkhana video, which starred a rally-prepped 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and is still thoroughly exciting despite the lack of flair found in later videos in the series.

Block in 2018 finally decided to take a break from doing Gymkhana videos, passing the keys instead to fellow rally driver Travis Pastrana for the 11th installment in the series. Pastrana is now back for yet another installment, Gymkhana 2022, which was released on Tuesday, and was filmed in Florida.

Pastrana’s ride is a 1983 Subaru GL wagon dubbed the Family Huckster. Designed with help from Subaru Motorsports USA, the wagon generates 865 hp from a heavily tuned turbocharged 2.3-liter flat-4. It also borrows aerodynamic tricks from the Subaru WRX STI Airslayer, the one-off ride Pastrana drove in his previous Gymkhana video. These include flaps that pop up when extra downforce is needed, then retract to help lower grip levels when Pastrana needs the car to slide.

There are other vehicles, too. These include a number of monster trucks, a jet ski on wheels, and a 3,000-hp Chevrolet El Camino belonging to YouTube personality Cleetus McFarland.

Pastrana calls Gymkhana 2022 his wildest video yet, and that’s easy to believe considering it contains 160-plus-mph jumps, antics involving a helicopter, and even a race with a fighter jet. As with previous videos, there are also plenty of hair-raising close misses. It goes without saying, don’t try any of this at home.

The folks behind the Gymkhana series, Hoonigan, have set up a page for all previous videos in the series, as well as a collection of related videos, including Block’s recent Electrikhana video featuring the one-off Audi S1 E-Tron Quattro Hoonitron.

Track-Only Dallara EXP Has 493 HP And 2,755 lbs Of Downforce

This is the Dallara EXP, a track-only variant of the Stradale that promises extraordinary levels of performance.

Powering the Dallara EXP is the same basic 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder as the Ford Focus RS and also used by the Stradale. However, the engine has been modified by Bosch and now delivers 493 hp and 516 lb-f (700 Nm), huge gains over the 395 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of the Stradale. The track-only model comes exclusively with a six-speed sequential transmission driving the rear wheels through a Quaife limited-slip differential.

Watch Also: Dallara Is Testing A More Extreme Version Of The Stradale

Underpinning the EXP is the Stradale’s carbon fiber monocoque but the motorsport firm has made a plethora of upgrades to the car’s bodywork. For example, a larger rear wing has been fitted while the front fascia also adopts new canards and a more pronounced splitter. The car also lacks the windshield and roof that the Stradale can be optioned with and is said to deliver 2,755 lbs (1,249 kg) of downforce at its 180 mph (290 km/h) top speed. That’s a remarkable figure when you consider that the EXP weighs just 1,962 lbs (890 kg).

When combined with slick tires that come standard, the Dallara EXP can deliver 2.7 G of lateral acceleration through corners, roughly double what the highest-performing street-legal supercars and hypercars can deliver.

Dallara hasn’t announced pricing for the EXP. Interestingly, Dallara says individuals that already own a road-going Stradale will be able to purchase the EXP’s various new components and cycle between them if they want to use their vehicle both on the road and on the track.

Travis Pastrana Races His Gymkhana Subaru WRX STI Against A 1,300 HP Altima Drift Car

<!––>

<!––>

The Subaru WRX STI built for Travis Pastrana and Gymkhana 11 is a phenomenal performance machine and was recently brought out to Hoonigan’s drag strip for some races against an equally-as-unique Nissan Altima.

The Altima in question is owned by Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg and has been comprehensively modified for drifting. However, that doesn’t mean it is a slouch in a straight-line as it recently proved when out-sprinting a modified Dodge Charger Hellcat with 1,000 hp and drag radial tires.

Watch Also: Take A Deep Dive Of Travis Pastrana’s Crazed Subaru WRX STI Gymkhana Car

Key modifications made to this Altima include the fitment of a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 from a Nissan GT-R that, depending on the state of tune, can deliver as much as 2,000 hp but is currently rocking around 1,300 hp. It absolutely loves to spin up the rear wheels and produces an intoxicating sound.

In the other corner is Pastrana’s WRX STI. It was built by Subaru Motorsports USA and Vermont SportsCar and features a custom boxer engine bored out to 2.3-liters complete with a billet engine block and the crankshaft from Subaru’s RallyCross program. It also has billet heads, a twin timing belt system and a huge turbocharger, and delivers no less than 862 hp. While that’s considerably less than Forsberg’s Altima, the Subaru has the advantage of being all-wheel drive.

Thanks to the Subaru’s better traction, it launches much better than the Altima and takes the first two races with ease. However, a rolling race is then held between the pair and in this case, it was the Nissan that pulled away from the Subaru and claimed the win.
