Maserati MC20’s Acceleration Tested, Does It Live Up To The Hype?

Maserati has high expectations from the MC20, as it marks its return to the supercar arena.

In theory, it’s a very promising package. In practice, we have yet to find out whether it lives up to the hype, but we’re slowly getting there.

According to the Italian automaker’s official figures, the MC20 needs less than 2.9 seconds from rest to 62 mph (0-100 km/h). Keep the throttle pegged to the floor, and you will eventually see over 202 mph (325 km/h) on the speedometer.
